Northern lights over Yellowknife, Canada, 2018. Aurora is the Latin word for „dawn“ and people in earlier times thought polar lights the first signs of daybreak. Polar lights or aurora polaris are called northern lights or aurora bolearis (borealis being „northern“ in Latin) in the northern hemisphere and southern lights or aurora australis (australis being „southern“ in Latin) in the southern hemisphere.
For this photograph, a total of nine limited edition prints, all hand signed and numbered, are available as original photo prints under acrylic glass and as HD metal prints. Additionally, one artist’s print has been printed.
