Lunar Eclipses

About twice a year during the so-called eclipse seasons, Sun, Earth, and Moon fully align at full moon. Then the Moon travels into Earth’s shadow so that Earth blocks direct sunlight from illuminating the Moon and a lunar eclipse occurs. Due to the relatively large size of Earth’s shadow with respect to the size of the Moon, lunar eclipses last several hours and can be observed from everywhere on the night side of Earth. They are save to watch without any eye protection.

All pictures in this very special collection are limited editions of nine, hand signed and numbered, and come with a certificate of authenticity. They are available as original photo prints under acrylic glass and as canvas prints in different sizes.
