Blue Blood Moon at Dawn

Blue Blood Moon at Dawn

Blue Blood Moon at Dawn, 2018.

Partial lunar eclipse phase after the total lunar eclipse on January 31, 2018. This lunar eclipse occurred during the second full moon of the month and a second full moon in a month is called a blue moon. A blue moon is rare and on average only occurs every two to three years. In 2018, however, there was another blue moon in March, which only happens about three to five times a century.

For this photograph, a total of nine limited edition prints, all hand signed and numbered, are available as original photo prints under acrylic glass and as canvas prints. Additionally, one artist’s print has been printed.

  • 16 x 12 in (40 x 30 cm)
  • 24 x 18 in (80 x 60 cm)
  • 48 x 36 in (120 x 90 cm)
